Location Information:

Riders: We collect your location during a ride to connect you with nearby drivers. Location access must be enabled in your device settings and is used only during active rides.

Drivers: When you log in and activate "Online" mode, you must allow location access, including in the background, to match with riders and update your location in real time. Location data is collected only when you are online or on a trip. A consent prompt will appear upon login, as this is required. Tracking stops when you log out or switch to offline mode.

Location data is used exclusively within the app for ridesharing purposes.
Usage Information: Device type and app usage data to improve Q Taxi services.

How We Use Your Information

Match riders with drivers and provide trip updates.
Enable drivers to receive ride requests and share location during communication or rides.
Improve the app and respond to your inquiries.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or share your data, except in the following cases:

Sharing necessary information between riders and drivers during trips, which remains confidential.
Collaborating with trusted partners (e.g., payment processors or mapping services) that protect your data.
Complying with legal obligations if authorities request data.
Using anonymized data for analytics, which cannot identify you.

Your Options and Rights

Riders: You can enable or disable location access in your device settings. Disabling location access may prevent you from booking rides.
Drivers: Location access, including in the background, is required when online or during trips. To stop tracking, log out or switch to offline mode.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. You will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of Q Taxi after updates indicates your acceptance of the changes.
